Hmmm…looks a little different.

Well, as you can probably tell, the first step in a major “rebranding” effort so to speak has been largely completed, save for a few decisions on colors that are being made right now. I’m going to use the blog as a proving ground for the new design for the remainder of the site and such. I’ve said this before, but I really mean it this time. Honest. :)

Expect this design to be tweaked up and such as time goes along. There’s still some minor issues to resolve, but I’m working on them. I’m trying my hardest to get the full site out there, but it will take a little more time. What I hope won’t have to wait much longer is the message board, which I’m going to try and get going this weekend. I’ve made the decision to start from scratch, so all previous members of the site will have to re-register. It’s most definitely time to start fresh – I was looking around the old jwsdotcom board (it’s hiding somewhere on teh intarwebs) and I must say, I’d like to think I’ve outgrown a lot of the content. Being the sap I am, I’ll probably provide it in archived form.

Please leave your feedback on the look, and I’ll do my best to work with it.

Enjoy!

J

Yeah, looks real good. Keep up the good work.

I noticed that you designed it to look like Apress books though. :p

LOL. Any resemblance to Apress or Goose Creek High colors is totally coincidental. I just thought this would be a great scheme. It works out that the book cover doesn’t clash. :)
