So between the impromptu seabreeze thunderstorm which soaked me, lots of craziness at work in general, and other things, the last thing I wanted to see was that the Terrace, one of my favorite places to unwind and down a few, has shut down permanently. Can anyone out there shed some light on this? I sure didn’t see this one coming. They were having a fairly decent party up there just last week, it seemed like.

Discussion of Wow…what a morning. is now closed
The Terrace, Millennium Music …the whole building is going to be torn down. It’s part of a master beautification plan for the Marion Square area that was announced several months ago in the Post and Courier.
The Terrace people took over the old PLUTO ROCKS site further up King Street (across from Basil Thai Food) and present a 70s or 80s music review.
I agree the view was great and the atmosphere at the Terrace was highly charged.
I had a feeling it was the Millennium Music teardown project that brought the closure about. Good to know their new location. Thanks Chuck!!
