Ouch. That temperature doesn’t look too bad, but that heat index is horrendous-looking. It must’ve been pretty miserable to have been outside in Charleston yesterday!
It was probably the worst day we’ve had this summer until about 3PM when some thunderstorms developed near me. We got no rain but the cloud cover was a big help in cooling things off, though some rain would have been ideal. On my walk home I could definitely feel that the air wanted to be squeezed out.
