The final day of what I consider “summer” is today. I’ve been stewing about the apartment kind of trying to get ready. I’ve also had a unique opportunity to watch daytime TV, and I still maintain that Maury Povich should just rename his show “Who’s Your Daddy.” All I’ll say is that it’s a shame that the one time when a guy actually WANTS to be the father and he doesn’t turn out to be it. No fun.
Other items from the day:
Jose Padilla’s terror charge was thrown out by a U.S. district judge today, citing that the charge was “multiplicitous” and would have exposed Padilla to being punished multiple times for the same crime. Interesting.
Paris Hilton, like, cries when she listens to her CD. If I listened to that CD, I’m sure I’d, like, cry too.
Yankees sweep the five-game set against the Sox today. Not good times in Beantown. They could even miss the postseason now unless the Yankees slip up between now and October, which I don’t think will happen.
Reggie Bush and the Saints will be on Monday Night Football tonight facing the Cowboys. I haven’t seen Bush play live in the NFL yet (just caught a couple of impressive highlights), so I’m really looking forward to tonight.
Peace, folks.

Are you going to include BACK CHANNEL in the daily Planet roundup? I enjoy City Paper and look forward to seeing their blogs. The Planet including it would simplify things. Thanks.
I do believe I will add it. Thanks for the suggestion!
Yes I did.
I looked back and confirmed that I had just made a comment about the Daily Planet. Holy Superman!
