We should be so fortunate that here in Charleston, it’s December 1 and we have the option to wear shorts. Right now is a good time to not live in the Midwest. I don’t know how I could ever deal with a snowstorm like that.

It’s going to rain like hell in about three or four hours, I think. Make sure you have an umbrella during the afternoon — it will come in handy. Enjoy this warmth while it lasts, too, for tomorrow will be much cooler!

    It’s obnoxiously warm up here in the ‘Burg today, as well. According to TWC, Pittsburgh Int’l already recorded a high of 70, a new daily record. Additionally, there are strong storms headed this way, as we’re under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch ‘til 6pm et; a High Wind Warning ‘til 9pm et; and currently a *Severe Thunderstorm Warning ‘til Noon et. NWS Pittsburgh says winds may exceed 60mph later this afternoon with the approaching front.

    From what I saw, Chicago could get upwards of a foot of snow. Boy, I’d love that here right now!

    I was flipping through channels last night and saw on TWC yesterday evening that Nashville was running 69 and nearby St. Louis was 29 and snowing hard. This is insane.

    We’re in December now, this low-mid 70s thing has to go.
