Happy New Year 2008

2008 promises to be one hell of a year. It better be a good one — being a leap year, we’re stuck with it for an extra day! I have a few friends who will technically turn six, as their birthdays fall on the 29th of February. Hehe.

It’s an election year, so the fireworks will continue well beyond tonight. We’ll see the world’s reaction to Beijing’s production of the Summer Olympics. Personally, I’ll be leaping forward with my career on multiple fronts: The College of Charleston’s Web redevelopment will be a big deal for me in the months that follow, and I’ll be graduating in December. It’s an exciting time, and I can’t wait.

Here’s to a happy, safe, and prosperous New Year to you and yours!
